I am delighted with this beautiful yoga mat and the matching pad is so useful. it was delivered within 48 hours and came with really helpful instructions. It has a lovely suede like surface which is a delight to use and the design and colour is so uplifting. It was definitely worth the investment and I look forward to using Kati Kaia again 💖
Stunning Mat
Stunningly beautiful yoga mat. My boyfriend bought this for me as he knows how much I love my daily practice, and how important sustainability is for me. The fact this organisation have a plan for their mats when they reach the end of their natural life (you can send back to them to recycle, or if on the unfortunate chance it ends up in landfill, it will still biodegrade in a few years as opposed to never with PVC!!) Rolling out the extra long mat in the mornings, seeing the soul-lifting artwork and starting my practice has been a joy. 🤩 Could not recommend enough.

I can never go back now - such a beautiful base for my practice.
This is my first Fabric Top Mat after years of using PU, TPE mats. It does need some time to get use to the surface after being so used to sticky grip PU type. That being said, it is not slippery. In fact, it made me be more aware on grounding my hands and feet more and using my body with the mat. Just need to be patient in adapting, once your used to the difference, it lets you flow more, sweat is absorbed so well and now I love the grip and touch, I won't go back to the sticky, plastic mats ever. Love the colour of my mat. Love the eco packing, beautiful.

A beautiful addition to my fitness room.
The vegan suede surface feels heavenly to the touch and the natural rubber backing grips the hard floor surface (marble) so well. Not only is this a beautiful mat to look at with it abstract artwork (I leave it unrolled on the floor), it matches my decor and is a beautiful mat to work with. My daily stretching has never been more delightful.

I bought the Essential Bundle with Thalassa as the main mat and Melete as the touring version. I adore both and, to be frank, bought both because I couldn't make up my mind as to which I liked most!
As you point out, they are a little slippery at first, and I have followed your guidance and sprayed a little water on them to create grip.
I love the fact that they are a little wider and longer than other mats. They are both supportive. Excellent quality that I know will last. I have been doing yoga for over twenty years and these are the best mats I've ever had.
They are beautiful works of art and I have received many compliments for them. I am proud to carry them to classes. The bright, Mediterranean Thalassa colours are a boost to the spirit as we go in to the dark winter nights.

Didn't actually believe it would fit in my hand luggage for my retreat to Spain, but it was perfect - great with the hot weather - got really sweaty and just rinsed clean each day, was dry by morning! Beautiful artwork! And i've taken it to the pebble beach too, was really good to lie on! :)
