Original Artwork by fine artist K A Treble.

Shimmering metallic mark making and texture, named after the Japanese term for sunlight filtering through trees ad inspired by the canopy of the surrey hills. Rich oil paint markings in shades of green and yellow create a lush, organic feel, while meticulously applied gold foils shimmer and shift with every change in light. The interplay of these elements creates a dynamic surface that draws the viewer in, revealing new details with each glance, reflecting the trees canopy. A truly unique piece that brings warmth and sophistication to any art collection.

100 x 100 cm in wooden frame.

Hand-gilding finish and signed by the artist.

Shipped in a crate.

About

K A Treble
b. Hong Kong
University of the Arts London; Ravensbourne College of Design, London

K A Treble’s work explores the emotional depth of abstraction through vibrant colour, gestural mark-making, and the physicality of oil paint. The paintings are intuitive – one mark leads to, informs and changes another through vibrant colour combinations and thick energetic marks.

Her intuitive process—of layering, scraping back, and rebuilding—reveals hidden textures and stories beneath the surface. Blending energy, emotion, and modern narrative, she creates immersive works that speak where words fall short.

William Morris

The artist's task is to save the soul of mankind; and anything less is a dithering while Rome burns... the artists, who are self-selected for being able to journey into the Other, if the artists cannot find the way, then the way cannot be found.
